"Morning, beautiful."
Stirring slowly, Raven awoke to see two vibrant emerald green eyes smiling at her face. "Morning, Gar," she yawned, rolling over and propping herself up under her elbows in an attempt to sit up and get out of bed.
Before she could fully sit up, though, a pair of strong, green arms tackled her down. "You aren't getting out of bed yet, beautiful."
Raven let out a small laugh. "Gar, please." She tried to loosen his grip on her by tumbling out of the bed and onto the floor, but Gar wasn't ready to give up yet. His hands gripping her shoulders tightly, they rolled together on the carpet of their bedroom until he had her pinned down.
"Oh, Gar." She rolled her eyes. "You're always like this."
Gar chuckled. "I love you, sweet darling," he said, pressing his lips to hers for a short but sensual kiss before letting her go.

His optimistic hum danced against her ears and she had to use every ounce of will power not to open her eyes. With one large intake of air, she adjusted herself in his lap as to avoid his almost enjoyable tone. Her terrified screams echoed through the tower, just like every other night.
It was 2:30 am when Beast Boy was rudely awakened from his slumber. The screams woke him, and only him. Cyborg was in his ‘room’, recharging for the day to come, Robin and Starfire were out on early morning patrol (at least, thats what the couple told Beast Boy. Who knows what they could really be doing) and Raven - well, the screams were coming from Raven.

I've always been a night owl. All my life even as a young child I remember my mom always telling me, "Garfield you need to get some sleep. It's not good for a little boy to stay up so late." But it never really mattered because no matter what I was told, I always preferred the night. As I grew older learned new things I began to wonder if I had insomnia. Rita eventually told me that's what I had and for once I didn't feel so odd about my late nights. She give me warm lemon water to help soothe me, and for a while that actually helped. It's really a cliche and very lame BBRae drabble (which takes place after Garfield and Raven have been married for perhaps a couple years) I wrote out of the blue, but I hope you like it anyway.
